The Charitable Gift Planners of Rhode Island (CGPRI) is the local chapter serving charitable gift planning professionals throughout Rhode Island and southeastern New England. As an affiliate of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, CGPRI brings together advancement professionals and colleagues from allied fields who are dedicated to advancing the gift planning profession through education, networking, and professional development.

With nearly 50 members representing nonprofit organizations, financial planning, law, accounting, trust administration, and other related professions, CGPRI provides a valuable forum for sharing ideas, discussing emerging trends, and building meaningful professional relationships.

Throughout the year, CGPRI hosts educational programs featuring both local and nationally recognized speakers covering a wide range of topics relevant to charitable gift planning. These programs offer practical insights, continuing education opportunities, and a chance to connect with colleagues committed to helping donors achieve their philanthropic goals.

We are proud to foster a collaborative and engaged community that supports professional excellence and promotes the growth of charitable gift planning across our region.

Membership & Event Registration

Local CGPRI membership is $175 annually and includes access to chapter programs, networking opportunities, and member benefits throughout the year.

Please note that national membership in the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners is separate and does not include membership in CGPRI. Individuals who wish to participate in CGPRI programs and receive local member benefits must maintain a CGPRI membership.

Non-members are welcome to attend CGPRI educational programs for a registration fee of $40 per meeting.
